1970s Home Renovation

Spacious & Family-Friendly

This original home had a traditional 1970s floor plan, complete with stained judges paneling, closed-off walls, and a dated color scheme. When this young family approached us, they were eager to make their home more conducive to their routines, meal prep, and family gatherings. To start, we completely reconfigured the floor plan, creating more open space within the original footprint. We removed walls to create a larger kitchen, moved the laundry room upstairs, created a spacious pantry cabinet, added a beverage center off the dining room, and created a homework area with a hidden closet of lockers for kids’ backpacks and coats. This home is now modern, fresh, and designed to make everyday life easier and more enjoyable.
